What Are 'Modules'?

Well, it's just a fancy word for "tools." CMS comes with a standard "toolbox" that contains nine standard tools.

Web Content This allows you to add, edit or delete content from any page, anytime and organize the site's structure by creating and moving new levels, pages and subpages. Menus and cookie trails are created automatically as you save your work.
Announcements This allows you to write and schedule announcements and link the announcements to longer documents. This is a terrific way to add update announcements to existing documents.
Bulk E-mail Manager With this tool, you can to write, edit and send e-mails to select groups or to everyone in your e-mail database. Target certain audiences for e-blasts, such as vendors or select clients. This is an invaluable tool!
Document Manager This handy tool lets you upload files for easy access in different formats , such as Word, PowerPoint, PDF and Excel. This means documents, presentations, spreadsheets and more! No programming, no HTML, just take the document and upload it. What could be simpler?
Publications This tool permits you to upload periodicals/newsletters and update archive index. It automatically notifies subscribers by e-mail of changes. This is a great way to not only update your site, but also let your customers know what you're doing.
eCommerce Why limit your customer base? The eCommerce tool can set up a product catalog of 100-500 different items. Customers anywhere in the world with Internet access can view your products and services and order them online. A "back office" part of the program handle such things as shipping and handling as well as taxes.
Event Calendar You've got a lot going on. This tool lets you list a complete event calendar including list and monthly displays. It flags events to features on the home page. It can even be linked to eCommerce so that tickets to an event can be sold through the calender.
